I am thrilled to announce the evolution of this years retreat. This will be a 15 day experience in total which includes the 5 days prior and 5 days after the physical retreat of proper care, diet, and love to the mind body and spirit. We will be diving into ourselves in an all encompassed journey to get to know who we are and clear out the gunk that has been causing imbalance in our bodies, minds, and lives.
Starting on August 20 we will begin the integral rice diet together. Those first 5 days will be in the comfort of your own home but connected in to the energy of our group and space via whatsapp where we will have daily checkins as needed and necessary as we embark on this journey together. This integral rice diet will continue on into the retreat (all 5 days) and you will then leave the retreat continuing this diet for the next 5 days after. ending on September 4. This is an essential and important part of the journey each participant will be taking.
Why the integral rice diet in combination with the kambo retreat?
After many years of holding these retreats and containers it was my personal mission to find a method and diet that correlated and supported the kambo journey in the most wholesome of ways.
Asking the necessary questions such as:
How can the participants working with kambo integrate the experience more fully?
What diet is best to properly support the process kambo takes us through?
What dietary choices can we make as a group that will lead to the most complete experience all the way down on a cellular level and then thereafter stick with us and our lives for long periods of time to come?
After spending some time with my teacher in Mexico diving deeper into my own self work and journey, once again... the answers came through personal experience and paying close attention. Receiving the answers needed in regards to how we can take this work and integrate it better providing lasting changes to our health, our minds, and our lives. Because what is the point of doing something so powerful and empowering like this if it doesn't stick and last into our day to day experiences thereafter?
Doing 5 days of the integral rice diet prior to the retreat will begin to prepare our temples (the body) and our psyche (the mind) so we can dive into ourselves with more openness and support. The rice diet begins to clean and purify the blood (our blood is linked to our mind). So in cleaning the blood we begin to pin point the place within our bodies that tends to cause the most inhibitions. We must understand that every aspect of our mind, our emotions, and our spirits are reflected through the state of our bodies. So, taking care of the body is the first step to taking care of all other aspects of ourselves in a wholesome way.
In continuing the rice diet throughout the 5 days we will then be together also working with kambo, sananga, hape', and kundalini yoga we will have opportunities to dive and explore more aspects of ourselves and our healing than were possible before. Showing up in self work that could have a lasting effect on us for the remainder of our lives.
This experience will give us opportunities to learn about:
- the root cause of traumas we have experienced
- things disrupting our hormonal systems
- deficiencies we may have been experiencing but were unaware of
- ways to strengthen out nervous system so we can experience life with less stress
- calcifications in the body that have been disrupting our ability to connect to our own intuition
- food allergies or intolerances we may have not been aware of before
- subconscious patterning in our mind that we weren't aware was causing havoc in our lives
- inner child work and patterning that has continued cycles of suffering and personal judgement, self-consciousness, pain, rejection, etc.
- soul retrieval work so we can reclaim parts and aspects of ourselves we have been taught to deny, hate, ridicule, or reject
- reclamation of our own power and sovereignty
- opportunity to truly get to know who we are- the comfortable and uncomfortable- so we can begin a more full practice of true self love and acceptance
- and so much more
We will then continue the rice diet 5 days after the retreat August 30-September 3 and officially shift into the rest of our lives on September 4. These 5 days where you return back home and begin the integration process after the retreat will be a pivotal time and opportunity to take the experience you've just been through and through will and determination begin to own it and claim it in your every day life back home. These 5 days afterwards will also be a time of proper integration of the work we did in the retreat so that the experience can set into your body, your cells, your being, your mind, and create a solid foundation into every facet of who you are within your life.
This experience will be an opportunity to truly experience yourself and see what you are capable of and what is possible. There will be moments of challenge and discomfort but that is the juicy magic of it all. The challenges we choose to undergo that expand our lives and consciousness beyond what we *thought* or *believed* was possible prior. Within that discomfort we get to meet ourselves again with new eyes and take the wisdom and lessons we learned with us so we can carry them in our being into every future possibility that presents itself from there onward.
Is the rice aspect of the retreat a necessary thing for everyone to partake in?
YES! Unless you have very specific things going on with you and we have talked about specific other adjustments in your consultation process then the rice diet will be a mandatory experience for every participant. It is essential that we step into this container together moving through and supporting one another through this journey.
Will there be support for me as I am doing this rice diet?
Absolutely! We will be doing a group call prior to the diet to go over the list of supplies needed, how it will all work, and give each person an opportunity to set their intention before the rice diet starts. We will set this group up through whatsapp where we will be able to regularly check in with one another, ask questions, and receive support as we all are moving through this process together.
Will the supplies for the rice diet be provided to me?
No. I will send a clear list to every participant the week or 2 leading up to the start of the rice diet (August 20) so everyone can ensure to get everything they will need prior to the date. Below I will also include the list of items everyone will be needing to get so you can slowly acquire some of these things between now and August 20. The amazing thing about the rice diet is it's super simple and very affordable. With that said, the quality and type of items you get does matter- always opt for gluten free, GMO-free, and whole ingredients. This means whole grain rice such as red rice or black sweet rice and gluten free tamari if available to you.
Where can I acquire the ingredients I will be needing for this integral rice diet?
I get most of my own personal supplies at my nearest Asian market. They have most of what I need there and at a very affordable price. The Giving Greens which is a high quality vegetable and enzyme powder will also be an essential thing everyone will need to have. This I will send a direct link to each participant so they can get their own supply. The Giving Green powder will help supplement further nutrients and vitamins as you are doing the rice to help support an overall balanced dietary experience throughout this process.
Will there be rice and Giving Greens available to us at the retreat itself the 25-30?
Yes! I will be preparing our rice meals throughout the retreat. I will also having Giving Greens available to us throughout the retreat. The rice and Giving Greens supply you will need will be for the 10 days (5 days before and 5 days after the retreat) so you can prepare and make your own meals at home.
Can I continue my supplement, herb, or vitamin regimens along with the rice diet?
Yes, absolutely! And I do recommend it as you may notice that since your body will be cleaning out so much you will begin to receive even more benefits from your supplement/vitamin/herb regimens now that your body is better able to absorb those nutrients! We may also be muscle testing you throughout and giving you recommendations on other supplements/vitamins/herbs/foods to begin incorporating into your regimen and diet throughout this process according to your needs and what shows up for you through this process.
What is the overall goal of this retreat and these 15 days?
To provide you with an experience that feels wholesome and all encompassed. That doesn't just give you a 5 day experience but also includes an empowering process before and after so you can better integrate your journey and experiences in the retreat into your day to day life. The rice will help to integrate the kambo detox deep into your being and cells so it can stay with you for far longer and help you to become more self aware so you can make healthier and more wholesome choices in the future. We also hope to provide a safe space for you to self explore, let things come up to the surface, play, cry, laugh, express... in any and all ways that may be necessary for you as you unravel into the truth of yourself and who you are. We want to provide a container for you to find joy in existing in the body you were born into and remember what it feels like to feel GOOD and healthy again.
This years Michigan Retreat (in person) will be happening August 25-August 29.
It will be in Gowen Michigan at a private location that exists on many acres of land for us to connect and commune with. We will have partial access to the house (see pictures) and full access to the many acres of land. The space will be provided with all we will need for this beautiful closed container experience.
***Keep in mind pics provided were taken in winter. Retreat is in summer so there will be no snow on the ground then and it'll be more green.***
Sleeping arrangements will be outside. Do bring any camping gear you have: tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, hammock, blankets and pillows, and any other camping gear you prefer. If this absolutely does not suit you there will be optional space in the basement to setup an air mattress indoors. Although it is highly encouraged to sleep outdoors as it'll provide personal space in nature to properly integrate between ceremonies.
We will have access to the kitchen, bathroom, and shower. Our ceremonial space will be setup at/near the house so we can have full access to the bathroom as needed.
A 5 day (4 night) retreat. It includes 3 kambo ceremonies, 3 sananga sessions, hape', 3 kundalini yoga classes, integration circles, and integration tools/suggestions for you to take home with you after. And also the 15 days total of the integral rice diet!
Accommodation space will be provided (please bring tents and comfort items for a nature experience outdoors on the land- lists will be provided). We will be staying together in a closed container to provide space for a deeper and more supportive process.

Our Kambo and Kundalini Yoga Immersion Retreats on a fusion of Eastern and Amazonian traditions that Angela has been studying for the past 7 years. Her journey and training with Kundalini Yoga while in India as well as her initiations with both Kambo and plant medicines is what has brought to life this unique retreat experience. She has studied alongside indigenous peoples of the jungle and learned from some of the best Kundalini yoga teachers in the world on her own self journey to now bring you this Retreat she has been offering across the world the past 5 years.
This retreat is a journey within ourselves and the opportunity to connect to our bodies as well as our spirits, energy, and truths. It is the opportunity to clear away much of the fog and gunk that has distracted us from connecting to ourselves and world around on a pure level.
Kambo is a natural medicine from the Amazon that helps the body to purge much of the toxins, blocks, dense energies, and emotional build up that has us feeling heavy, possibly sick, disconnected, and out of alignment. It clears the body on a physical level, clears the heavy emotions we have been possibly suppressing for years, rebalance the energy back to a higher vibrational frequency, and reconnects us to our spirits and what it means to really feel good. Kundalini yoga also teaches us how to feel the way energy moves through us, how to wake ourselves back up, and how to reconnect with our power and truths.
Together Kundalini Yoga and Kambo help us on all aspects: physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.

ABOUT THE INTEGRAL RICE DIET
INTEGRAL ORGANIC RICE DIET:
Grocery list of what you will need (I bought most things I needed from an Asian market):
-GMO-free whole grain rice - I personally work with red rice or black sweet rice
-Tamari - gluten free tamari is best and it needs to specifically be tamari due to the specific fermentation process tamari goes through to provide the benefits that it does for the system
-Black sesame seed oil
-Rice vinegar
-White and/or Black sesame seeds
-Himalayan Salt
-Nori
-Dried Seaweed which you'll rehydrate
-Oolong Tea
-Go Greens (I will send you a link and code)
Optional- bone or vegetable broth and teas/herbs/supplements/essential oils that are renourishing to the system and have intentional reasons behind working with them to support you and your body during the rice diet

This diet consists of eating only integral rice for at least 10 days. In cereal, or cream, every day. I
practice it and I tell you that if you want to try something extraordinary for your health, this is what you should put into practice. It will not prevent you from continuing to work, it is not like fasting.
However, he hopes to experience various elimination of toxins or toxic because after a few days the rice begins to detoxify. Persevere! You will be rewarded beyond your expectations, it is fabulous from every point of view, physical, mental, personality.
This diet is extraordinarily effective, heals or improves most physiological diseases, even those
incurables. It is quite simple:
It consumes only organic integral rice in each meal.
Drink little by little according to your thirst (chew your drink) - chew as much as you can also rice. It is like fasting, but without hunger.
It is not an end. It must mark the beginning of a deep change in your lifestyle and in your eating
habits according to universal principles, otherwise you will inevitably fall into illness or despair.
10 days to start, you can always start over time when you feel the need. Then to continue the road to healing you must continue with the standard diet of bioenergetic nutrition such as the teaching center channel.
The first 3 days can be a bit difficult mentally, keep your mind busy and stay active.
Why rice? As rice does not contain purines, that is why rice is the cereal of detoxification and
therefore the cereal of healing. If you have any problem, always return to rice.
CAUTION: Rice has a great power to purify the body, thus released toxins are transported by blood before being eliminated by the excretory system. It is easy to understand that, in case of strong accumulation, this sudden diffusion of waste throughout the body can cause elimination phenomena equivalent to a mini poisoning (diarrhea, constipation, migraines, attacks of weakness).
Cooking rice:
Measure: a cup = 225 gr - 1 cup of raw rice yields 3 cups of cooked rice.
One cup cooked rice per person.
Container: steam pressure pot (valve pressure pot, pressure cooker.)
Or stainless-steel pot of surgical quality with lid.
Amount:
One cup of rice.
Two cups of water.
One pinch with three salt fingers.
Place the rice on a strainer, rinse it with clean cold water, drain it and wander it in the pot.
Add the pinch of salt and cold pure water, shake slightly to spread the grains throughout the surface of the bottom, this also helps to check the quality of the rice, the more grains float on the surface, the less the quality will be.
Place the pot to the fire without a lid, lead to light boiling, place the lid, and let the pressure increase, to the “maximum pressure” valve signal, lower the heat to a minimum and if necessary, place a diffuser.
From this moment it counts 45 minutes. 1 hour in normal pot.
When time has elapsed, remove the fire container, and wait for the pressure to fall alone, in this way the grains of the background will detach more easily.
Open the lid and remove the rice.
Cooked rice in this way has a nut flavor, a soft and delicious flavor and is particularly digestible, but chew it well anyway.
Cereal in cream:
Heat the rice or cereal slightly in a pan over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Let it cool and shine it very fine to make some flour.
For one part of roasted cereal flour, add five parts of water, bring to a boil, and let cook over low
heat for 15 minutes.
Mix specially made from roasted grains: in decreasing quantities: rice, barley, wheat, oatmeal,
sesame and azukis, all finely ground. Recommended in the form of baby cream and sick people with lack of appetite. Very digestible.
No gluten: whole rice, sweet rice, quinoa, azukis.
For a long -term cure, add a pinch of parsley to rice.
Gomasio (roasted sesame and salt of l`himalaya) should be prepared in the proportion of one part salt/7 parts sesame or by one salt/12 sesame.
Do body exercises every day even if you are tired.
Drink little by little (swallow in the mouth or chew the liquids or drink well), chew the rice well, even the cream.
Why rice:
Since we are following this diet, we must first consider it in the light of the Yin-Yang principle. Some foods are too Yin, others too Yang. Rice is a balanced food. The K/Na relationship that serves as a reference for being one of the predominant elements that are considered is perfect, that is, K (potassium) and Na (sodium).
You should know that more than one billion humans on this planet eat exclusively rice. It is the basic food of many people around the world.
Rice is rich in starch and the human being digests it perfectly. Today some people consider that
gluten is responsible for many digestive disorders, or at least digestive discomfort. And the rice
does not contain it, unlike wheat.
Rice contains fiber, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, sulfur, chlorine, manganese, iron, copper, zinc, arsenic, iodine, fluoride, vitamins A, B1 and B3. And we can say that it is the ideal food because it is suitable for both children and older people and we athletes. It never causes allergies and even tends to relieve stomach acidity. Protects against certain cancers (colon, breast, prostate).
It tends to reduce cholesterol, reduces blood sugar levels. Cooking rice water is well known and
recommended for diarrhea. On the other hand, rice bran is a powerful laxative. All this with
comprehensive rice of course. Because white rice is pure starch and has become poor in minerals and vitamins of group B, in particular. Precooked rice is white rice, but it is considered a quick sugar and at all a slow sugar, this is particularly important for athletes.
Its protein content is high, around 8%, therefore, lower than wheat, but on the other hand superior in essential amino acids such as cystine, histidine, lysine, especially when, in addition, it is germinated.
I recommend a diet based on rice for high blood pressure, gastrointestinal and renal conditions,
heart failure, heart disease and nervous system disorders. Rice water, as we have seen, is used
against diarrhea because it is astringent, regulatory and phosphates rich.
The rice will cook in water, and you will have to wait until the rice has absorbed all the water of
cooking, otherwise you will throw all the minerals through the sink.
Never mix or combine other foods with starch such as potatoes, for example, or bread on the same dish.
